What are Lansoprazole gastro-resistant capsules?

Lansoprazole gastro-resistant tablets are a type of proton pump inhibitor used to treat acid related disorders.

Gastro-resistant capsules differ from regular capsules or tablets and are designed to withstand dissolving when they encounter stomach acid. Instead, Lansoprazole gastro-resistant capsules release their active ingredient further down the gastrointestinal tract.
