Why is Unuroid HC recommended for haemorrhoids?

Cinchocaine hydrochloride has been used to treat haemorrhoids for many years and clinical trials have concluded that it is an effective and safe medicine to use.

Hydrocortisone is a renowned corticosteroid for relieving inflammation in short-term use.

How does Uniroid HC effectively treat haemorrhoids?

Uniroid HC contains two active ingredients (hydrocortisone and cinchocaine hydrochloride) which work in different ways to alleviate the unpleasant symptoms of haemorrhoids.

Hydrocortisone belongs to a class of medicines known as corticosteroids, which are used to relieve inflammation. When used in and around the anal area for piles, hydrocortisone reduces the swelling and itching that is caused by haemorrhoids.

Cinchocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic medicine that blocks your nerve endings from sending pain signals to the brain. This, in turn, relieves the pain.

Uniroid HC ointment is not a suitable treatment for everyone to use.

Do not use Uniroid HC if any of the following apply to you:
